【Performance and Application】
Soluble in water, toluene, ethanol, trichlorethylene and other organic solvents. It has lubrication, solubilization, defoaming and antistatic properties. Used as emollient, softener, and lubricant in cosmetics. It is used as an anti-foaming agent in the processing of coatings, hydraulic oil, synthetic rubber and latex, and can be used as an intermediate in esterification, etherification and polycondensation reactions.
