[Performance and application]
Soluble in water, toluene, ethanol, trichloroethylene and other organic solvents. It has lubrication, solubilization, defoaming and antistatic properties. It is used as emollient, softener and lubricant in cosmetics. It can be used as antifoaming agent in coating, hydraulic oil, synthetic rubber and latex processing, and can be used as intermediate in esterification, etherification and polycondensation. It can be used as release agent, solubilizer, additive of synthetic oil, additive of water-soluble cutting fluid, roller oil and hydraulic oil, high temperature lubricant, internal lubricant and external lubricant of rubber.
