Application of wetting agent CF-10：
Manufacturing latex paint:
TRITON CF-10 is a general-purpose wetting agent for latex paint manufacturing. As shown in Table 2, at a temperature of 100°F (37.8°C) or higher, it can get the most benefit from its low foaming characteristics. This temperature is usually reached during high-speed pigment dispersion.
In most coating formulations, the amount of 0.1-0.3% TRITON CF-10 is sufficient. TRITON CF-10 is used as a wetting agent together with "Tamol" 731 (25%) colorant dispersant. This mixture exhibits a synergistic effect of maximum efficiency at the smallest amount.
In order to improve the water resistance of the paint film, avoid using excessive amounts of TRITON CF-10, or any other wetting agent.
