Characteristic and applications:
1.It has excellent detergency,Strong wetting power,Rich in foam,quick to break,easy to rinse.
2.Quickly soluble in water,narrow gel area.Low pour point,good low temperature performance,low odor,no free alcohol,low irritation to the skin,good biodegradability.
3.15-s-9 exhibits lower viscosity compared to nonylphenols and primary alcohols,thus convenient for handling.
4.The 15-s-9 product is stable under acidic and alkaline conditions and can be used in a wide pH range. Solution of 5% 15-s-9 in 10% aqueous sulfuric acid is boiled under reflux.After 4 hours,the solution is uniformly clear and its performance unchanged.similar results were obtained with other types of acids;Solution of 1% 15-s-9 in 5% aqueous potassium hydroxide is boileol under reflux.After 4 hours,the solution is uniformly clear and its performance unchanged.
5.15-s-9 have extremely low pour points compared to primary alcohols.
6.Compared to other surfactants,15-s-9 have excellent wetting power over a wide temperaturre range.At low concentrations,they have better wetting power.
7.The emulsifying power of the 15-s-9 is much better than that of AEO-9 and AEO-7.
8.15-s-9 is superior to AEO-9 and 1309 in detergency of sebum cloth.
