Performance and usage

MES is an anionic surfactant derived from natural palm oil.

MES has a hydrophobic group and its carbon chain is distributed from C16-C18, which makes it have excellent washing performance in various washing applications such as daily necessities washing and textile washing.

Product Features

1. It is derived from natural raw materials and renewable resources, has good biodegradability, and is an environmentally friendly product;

2. Mild performance, less irritating to human body than alkyl benzene sulfonic acid;

3. Low oral toxicity, actually non-toxic to organisms;

4. It has good washing performance and maintains good washing performance in both cold water and hard water. The detergency in soft water is higher than that of sulfonic acid. In hard water, the gap is more obvious, and this is one of the main weaknesses of sulfonic acid;

5. It has good compatibility and is suitable for compounding with other surfactants. The compounding effect is obvious, and when used in formulas, it maintains enzyme activity better than alkylbenzenesulfonic acid;

6. It has excellent solubilizing ability. Under the same conditions, the solubilizing ability is twice that of LAS and AS;

7. Good foaming properties, the foam performance of C12-14 carbon MES is basically the same as that of other surfactants;

8. Calcium soap is well dispersed, suitable for adding modifications to soaps and toilet soaps, and can reduce the formation of soap scale;

9. It has good phosphorus-free performance. In the absence or reduction of sodium tripolyphosphate additives, the performance of sulfonic acid drops greatly, but MES still maintains good results, and is suitable for the production of phosphorus-free and low-phosphorus environmentally friendly detergents. ;

10. Tests have proven that lower concentrations of MES show the same detergency as higher concentrations of sulfonic acid. Under the same conditions, the detergent formula containing MES still has higher detergency than the formula containing sulfonic acid while reducing the amount of effective substances. Its cost performance is much higher than that of traditional LAS, which is conducive to reducing costs and reducing the impact of washing sewage on the environment.

Application scope of MES

1. Furniture care and washing products, such as washing powder, liquid detergent, tableware detergent, floor cleaner, multi-functional cleaning products, etc.;

2. Textile industry detergents, such as soaping agents, refining agents, degreasing agents, etc.;

3. Leather chemicals, such as leather degreasing agent, fatliquor, etc.;

4. Flotation agent in mineral flotation;

5. Solubilizer in oil-in-water system;

6. Rubber industry.

Storage and transportation packaging

70% of MES products are packaged in plastic barrels (lined with plastic bags), with a net weight of 160kg; 80% of MES products are packaged in woven bags (lined with plastic bags) or paper packaging, with a net weight of 25kg.

Barrel and bagged products are stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse, away from sun and rain, and away from fire and heat sources.

Shelf life: Under normal packaging, storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is one year from the product packaging date.
